1) Scope & Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our Website (including forms, chat, and cookies).

  • Customers and prospective customers who inquire about or book travel services through SkySprint.

  • Individuals who communicate with us by email, phone, messaging apps, or in person at our office.

This Policy does not apply to third-party providers you interact with directly (e.g., airlines, hotels, car rental companies, insurance providers, payment gateways). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

2) Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity & contact: name, nationality, date of birth, passport or Emirates ID details, visa details, email, phone number, address.

  • Travel details: itineraries, destinations, dates, travel preferences, loyalty numbers, special requests (e.g., room type, dietary requirements).

  • Booking & payment: reservation codes (PNR), ticket numbers, booking references, partial payment information (we rely on PCI-compliant processors/gateways for full card handling), billing address, invoices, receipts.

  • Communications: emails, chats, call logs/notes, customer support tickets.

  • Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser details, referral URLs, pages viewed, session logs, cookie identifiers and similar technologies.

  • Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-ins/opt-outs and campaign engagement.

Special categories: If you share health-related information (e.g., accessibility or medical assistance needs), we process it only to fulfill your request and as permitted by applicable law.

3) How We Collect Personal Data

  • Directly from you: when you browse, inquire, book, pay, or communicate with us.

  • From third parties: airlines, hotels, GDS/consolidators, activity providers, insurance providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention partners, identity verification providers.

  • Automatically: via cookies and similar technologies on our Website.

4) Purposes of Processing

We use personal data to:

  1. Provide and manage services (quotes, itineraries, bookings, amendments, customer support).

  2. Perform our contract with you and pre-contractual steps at your request.

  3. Process payments and combat fraud/abuse.

  4. Communicate about inquiries, confirmations, updates, disruptions, refunds/claims, or policy changes.

  5. Operate and improve our Website, user experience, and service quality (analytics, troubleshooting).

  6. Comply with law (tax, accounting, sanctions/AML checks, governmental requests).

  7. Marketing (with your consent where required): newsletters, offers, promotions—you can opt out at any time.

5) Legal Bases We Rely On

We process personal data as permitted by applicable law, including the UAE PDPL. Depending on the activity, our legal bases may include:

  • Performance of a contract (or steps at your request).

  • Consent (e.g., certain marketing, cookies, or special category data).

  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, AML, public health/safety).

  • Legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement, security, fraud prevention), balanced against your rights and expectations.

For EEA/UK individuals, we also rely on the corresponding bases under GDPR/UK GDPR.

6) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tools to run our Website, measure traffic, enhance features, and (where applicable) personalize content/ads. You can manage preferences via your browser settings and (if provided) our cookie banner. Disabling non-essential cookies may impact site functionality.

7) Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share personal data with:

  • Travel suppliers: airlines, hotels, car rentals, tour/activity operators, insurers—only what is needed to issue or service your booking.

  • Technology/operations providers: GDS/consolidators, booking systems, payment gateways, email/SMS providers, IT hosting, analytics, customer support platforms.

  • Professional advisors & auditors: legal, compliance, accounting.

  • Authorities/regulators: where required by law, court order, or to protect rights/safety.

  • Business transactions: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or restructuring (subject to appropriate safeguards).

We do not sell your personal data.

8) International Data Transfers

Because travel is global, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UAE (and, where relevant, outside the EEA/UK). We take appropriate measures (e.g., contractual safeguards and risk assessments) to protect your data consistent with applicable law.

9) Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including:

  • the booking lifecycle and after-sales support,

  • legal/accounting retention periods,

  • fraud prevention and dispute resolution.

When no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize it.

10) Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure; please use caution when transmitting information online and notify us promptly of any suspected compromise.

11) Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including UAE PDPL and, where applicable, GDPR/UK GDPR), you may have rights to:

  • Access your data and request copies.

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Erase data (right to be forgotten) where applicable.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured, commonly used format).

  • Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing).

  • Complain to a supervisory authority (e.g., the UAE Data Office or your local regulator).

To exercise your rights, contact info@skysprint.ae. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the timeframes required by law.

12) Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact info@skysprint.ae so we can take appropriate action.

13) Marketing Communications

Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications. You can opt out anytime using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us.

14) Third-Party Links & Services

Our Website may link to third-party sites or embed third-party services (e.g., maps, payment gateways). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal data.

15) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shows when it last changed. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate (e.g., via the Website or email).

17) Refund Policy (Summary – for Convenience Only)

Refunds are governed by the service provider’s terms and conditions (e.g., airline, hotel, activity operator, insurance provider). SkySprint does not issue refunds itself. Where a booking is refundable under the supplier’s policy, we will assist you in submitting and tracking the request with the supplier, and any refund—its amount, timing, and method—is determined and remitted by the supplier (or via the original payment channel, per the supplier/gateway rules). Fees charged by suppliers or payment processors (including cancellation, change, or administrative fees) may be deducted from any refundable amounts. Some fares/rates are non-refundable. Please review the applicable supplier terms carefully before booking.
